A Birthday Gift…

Now I haven’t done any crafting since well before Christmas and I have to admit to loosing my mojo a little in that time…so with the little help from a UStamp project and some inspiration from my downline Tanya…this is what I ended up making…

The project is a Double pocket Bag from UStamp and if you haven’t seen UStamp before, then check out the cute little Blinkie on the side…It was a great project for me to use, as it has two pockets one for the card (as shown) and on the other side is a block of Lindt Chocolate…

So this is the card I made…

Now don’t adjust your screens, the little flecks over the card is from me misting it with our Champagne Mist paint and rubbing alcohol…the roses I saw on Tanya’s recent blog posts and I loved them so much I searched for the instructions and went ahead and made a whole heap! 🙂  As you can see, the roses are very chuncky so this card wouldn’t normally fit nicely in an envelope and so the double pocket bag was perfect for holding the card!

Overall, it all came together nicely and I hope my cousin likes her birthday gift…Happy Birthday Monica! xx
