Project Share…

Hello again, I wanted to share with you the May Workshop that I held at my place just yesterday…

This workshop is instead of the workshop that Nicole and I have been holding at the Kindy…Her partner was involved in a serious car accident and she has been focusing her time and energies into his recovery…so for now the workshops will be held at my place until such time as Nicole is ready to start classes again.

So onto the project…

We made a cute little envelope card with a chocolate slider (matching of course).  The technique that we focused on was the embedded embossing (or some call it inlaid embossing).  Normally I would only use card stock but for this we added the swirl from the Baroque Motifs stamp set.  And I just love the Pink and Grey combination at the moment.

So now for a close up of the card…

As you can see the card pulls out of the envelope to reveal the swirl and butterflies behind it…

And the Chocolate Slider…

I think this technique would have to be one of my favourites, it is really quite easy but very effective and gives a great result every time.  If you would like to come along and learn new techiques, or just come for the coffee, let me know and I will add you to my mailing list…The next workshop will be Sunday 5th June…After I am back from Convention so that is one to DEFINATELY book in for!

Till next time, Happy Stamping!
