An Easter Card for a Fundraiser…

A couple of weeks ago, I held a fundraising workshop for my Daughters Girl Guides group and we had a wonderful group of girls and ladies come along to make two Easter projects.  As we had nearly 30 people attending, we kept the projects simple so that everyone could create and enjoy the end result…It also had to be simple enough that girls as young as 5 or 6 could easily complete the projects…Oh and did I mention there was Chocolate???

So one of the projects that we created was this simple card using the Paper Piecing Technique for the cute little critters shells…

The Guides were wanting to buy the Big Shot for the girls to use for their crafting sessions and so for this card they used an embossing folder to add texture to the base of the card and I am so please to report that they were actually able to purchase the Big Shot for HALF PRICE!  What an awesome hostess benefit that is…

From all accounts everyone had a great time and I would like to thank you all for coming.  Also a big Thank You to Gillian for being my extra set of hands!

Until Next time,
