Today we have a Japanese student joining our family for the next nine days and I am home preparing for her visit. But I wanted to take a quick break to share with you the Peekaboo Card class that I held a class on Tuesday. It is a fun, interactive card and the end result from everyone was fabulous. While it is not particularly difficult, there are a few steps involved but the final card is definitely worth the time it takes to create it.
Here is the first card…
Peekaboo Card 1 Closed
Peekaboo Card 1 Opened
And now for the second card…
Peekaboo Card 2 Closed
Peekaboo Card 2 Opened
When the card is closed, the first sentiment is shown in the window on the front. However when the card is opened, the sentiment changes which will surprise the recipient. So much fun.
This card was made using the Special Reason Bundle that can be found in the 2017 Occasions Catalogue. This consists of the Stylish Stems Dies and the Special Reason Stamp set. I love the way this bundle works together to create different variations of the flower. On this card, I have stamped the large flower and used the framelit to cut it out, but the set also has a ‘skeleton’ die as well which can be used in a couple of ways. The Designer Series Paper used is the Succulent Garden DSP and can also be found in the 2017 Occasions Catalogue.
